Job Description
Paystack is seeking a talented and passionate UX/UI Designer to join our dynamic product team. You will be instrumental in creating intuitive, user-friendly, and visually appealing interfaces for our innovative payment solutions. This role involves working closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to translate complex requirements into elegant design solutions that delight our users and drive business success.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct user research, usability testing, and analyze feedback to understand user needs and pain points.
- Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and sitemaps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.
- Design and deliver high-fidelity mockups and prototypes optimized for a wide range of devices and interfaces.
- Collaborate closely with product managers and engineers throughout the product development lifecycle to ensure design integrity and feasibility.
- Present and defend designs and key deliverables to peers and executive stakeholders.
- Iterate on designs based on user feedback, technical constraints, and business goals.
- Maintain and evolve our design system and brand guidelines.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest UX/UI trends, techniques, and technologies.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.
- Demonstrable UX/UI design skills with a strong portfolio.
- Experience with user research, usability testing, and analytical tools.
- Ability to create wireframes, prototypes, storyboards, user flows, etc.
- Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction.
- Solid understanding of mobile-first and responsive design principles.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Design, Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or a related field.
- Experience designing for FinTech or e-commerce platforms.
- Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS/JavaScript for effective communication with developers.
- Experience with motion design and animation tools.
