Job Description
Nordstrom is seeking a talented and versatile Fashion Model to join our dynamic e-commerce team in Chandler, AZ. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced model to showcase a diverse range of apparel, accessories, and beauty products for Nordstrom.com and our various digital platforms. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of posing, movement, and visual storytelling, bringing our products to life for our online customers. You will work closely with our creative team, including photographers, stylists, and art directors, in a fast-paced studio environment to produce high-quality, engaging visual content.
Key Responsibilities
- Model a wide range of apparel, accessories, and beauty products for Nordstrom.com and other digital platforms.
- Collaborate effectively with photographers, stylists, hair and makeup artists, and creative directors to achieve desired looks and brand aesthetics.
- Maintain a professional demeanor and positive attitude on set, consistently representing the Nordstrom brand and values.
- Follow specific posing and movement directions to highlight product features, fit, and texture accurately and appealingly.
- Ensure timely arrival for all assigned shoots and be fully prepared with any necessary personal items or instructions.
- Provide constructive feedback on garment fit, comfort, and presentation to production teams as needed to improve product representation.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 2 years of professional modeling experience, with a strong preference for experience in e-commerce, catalog, or editorial fashion.
- Demonstrated strong posing ability and an intuitive understanding of movement, body language, and expressions suitable for photography and digital media.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering a collaborative and efficient working environment.
- Ability to take direction gracefully and adapt quickly to changing needs, styles, or schedules on set.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong professional work ethic and attention to detail.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative studio environment with tight deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
- A robust portfolio demonstrating versatility across various fashion categories (e.g., casual wear, formal wear, activewear, swimwear).
- Previous experience working with diverse e-commerce platforms and digital content creation workflows.
- Up-to-date knowledge of current fashion trends, styling techniques, and industry best practices.
- Ability to self-style or contribute creatively to looks and concepts during shoots.
